Qatar Airways has announced that it will start daily non-stop flights between Doha and Dublin from June 12, 2017.

The Dublin route is part of a run of new routes scheduled for 2017-18. Served by a B787 Dreamliner, the flight will have 22 business class seats laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration and 232 economy seats in 3-3-3 layout. All seats will have individual television screens and on board wifi, with business class seats reclining into a fully flat bed.

The flight schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (from June 12, 2017)
Doha to Dublin: QR19 departs 0125, arrives 0725
Dublin to Doha: to QR20 departs 0850, arrives 1805

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday (from June 13, 2017)
Doha  to Dublin: QR17 departs 07:20 arrives, 13:20
Dublin (DUB) to Doha (DOH): QR18 departs 1525 arrives, 0040 +1

Commenting on the new service, Dublin Airport managing director Vincent Harrison said:

“We look forward to welcoming the new daily Doha service from June and to working closely with Qatar Airways to promote the route. This service will bring extra choice and convenience for passengers and will also add Dublin and Ireland to Qatar’s growing global network.”

Qatar Airways’ chief executive Akbar Al Baker said: “The launch of flights to Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is an exciting addition to our network and I am confident that business and leisure passengers will benefit from our Boeing 787 Dreamliner service and smooth onward connections through our home and hub, Hamad International Airport.”

In the last year, Qatar Airways will have launched 13 new destinations – to total 150 destinations – which include Birmingham, Atlanta, Boston Los Angeles, Ras Al Khaimah, Sydney and Adelaide.
