Hilton Hotels and Resorts has opened its latest property in the Scottish capital.
The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton – formerly marketed under Amaris Hospitality’s Hotel Collection – has been refurbished and now features a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, and Nineteen Hundred Bar and Lounge.
The hotel’s 211 rooms feature 40-inch TVs, free wifi, and Sweet Dreams by Serta beds, and guests staying in executive rooms and suites have access to the Executive Lounge.
Other facilities include seven meeting rooms, with the highland Suite offering high arch windows and ceilings, and views across Edinburgh.

The hotel is housed within a grade B listed building on Northbridge, close to the city’s Edinburgh Waverly mainline rail station and the Royal Mile.
The property is owned and operated by Jurys Inn, part of the Amaris Hospitality group. Last year Amaris announced plans to convert the 21 hotels which form part of The Hotel Collection, into its Jurys Inn and Mercure brands, as well as this Hilton hotel.
The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton is the 16th Hilton Worldwide hotel in Scotland, and the eighth Hilton Hotels and Resorts property in the country.
