Malaysia Airlines is upping its number of flights to Yangon from next month and to Auckland from November.
From August 1, the national carrier will increase frequency from Kuala Lumpur to the Myanmar city from ten times weekly to twice daily.
The Kuala Lumpur to Auckland service will increase from six flights weekly to a daily service from November 24.
MAS deploys a Boeing 737-800 on the Yangon route and a B777-200 to Auckland.
Earlier this month, it emerged that the airline is introducing daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kochi and reinstating a five-times weekly service to Darwin later this year (see online news, July 8).
And, last month MAS announced it will resume its daily Kuala Lumpur to Dubai service from August 5 (see online news, June 28).
