Guoman to offer free wifi at London hotels

6 Nov 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Guoman Hotels is introducing free wifi to all guests and meeting delegates at its five hotels in London.

The group, which runs the Grosvenor, Royal Horseguards, Charing Cross, Cumberland and The Tower hotels, has agreed a partnership with BT to offer free wifi throughout its properties in the UK capital.

Guests will be able to log into the wifi service from all areas of the hotels including their rooms through the BT deal which promises “superfast connection speeds”.

Gillian Harris, brand marketing director for Guoman, said: “We know that our guests – whether they’re with us for business or leisure - want to log on and enjoy the internet like they do at home.

“Whether they’re logging on for business, or surfing the net for pleasure, they want to be able to stay connected 24/7.”

Guoman said it had made “significant investment” in its wifi services which made this new initiative possible.

“This new and upgraded service will offer guests a seamless transition from either the home or office, with the quality and security they can expect from such a trusted partner,” added Harris.
