Air Canada’s leisure subsidiary Air Canada Rouge has launched seasonal daily flights between Gatwick and Toronto.
The service will operate until October 16, using a two-class B767-300ER aircraft.
Outbound service AC1924 departs Toronto at 2210 and lands at Gatwick at 1015 the next day, while return service AC1925 leaves Gatwick at 1200 and arrives in Toronto at 1500.
The carrier is also set to launch seasonal flights between Toronto and Glasgow from June 3.
The new Gatwick-Toronto service joins rival carrier Westjet’s daily flights on the route, which launched earlier this month, along with new Westjet services to Gatwick from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and St John’s.
