Westjet to offer year-round services from Toronto and Calgary to Gatwick

Westjet’s new routes from Canada to London Gatwick don’t start until later this year, but the low-cost carrier has already extended two of the services from seasonal to year-round. The airline will launch non-stop flights from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and St John’s to Gatwick from May (see news September 14, 2015), with all of the routes initially announced as seasonal summer services. But Westjet has now confirmed it has extended flights from Calgary and Toronto to year-round. Westjet B737 The Calgary-Gatwick service will operate three-times weekly during the winter schedule (five-times weekly over the summer), with the Toronto-London flights operating daily year-round. The carrier is currently running a network-wide seat sale, with one-way fares from Canada to Gatwick starting from CA$248 – book by January 12, for more details click here.
