Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with Syncept Investment Group to open the Embassy by Hilton Bo’ao in 2019, marking the brand’s entry into the China and Asia-Pacific markets.
Located in Hainan province at Binhai Avenue, north of Bo’ao, the 300-room hotel is scheduled to open in 2019, and will compete in the upscale, five-star segment catering to domestic and international travellers in Bo’ao – a growing MICE and leisure destination in China, according to Hilton Worldwide.
“We are confident that more hotel owners will appreciate that Embassy by Hilton is well positioned to capture an untapped opportunity in the upper-upscale segment. Our partnership with Syncept Investment Group signifies the growing interest in this brand across the globe and we look forward to continuing to build on further opportunities in the near future," said Francis Lee, Hilton Worldwide's senior vice president, development, Greater China.
The global hospitality company said the Embassy by Hilton Bo’ao will feature 55sqm guestrooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant and a lounge bar. Other facilities will include a business centre, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and car park.
The hotel will also offer the brand’s signature “three-zone” guestroom design that will benefit business travellers as they can relax and work in specially designated spaces separate from the main sleeping area.
Families in the leisure-travel segment can also easily divide their room into two distinct areas of privacy by using the living room as an additional sleeping area, with its convertible sofa.
