26 Mar 2014 by GrahamSmith

British Airways has postponed its second daily A380 service between London Heathrow and Los Angeles.

The second superjumbo service had originally been scheduled to begin on April 10, before being first pushed back until May 7, and now again to May 19.

Outbound flight BA283 will depart LHR at 0940 and arrive at LAX at 1245 local time. Return flight BA282 will take-off from Los Angeles at 1550 and land in London at 1005 the following day.

The service is currently operated by a B747-400, reports airlineroute.net.

BA launched its first long-haul A380 flight, to LAX, last September (see news, September 24).
