What’s it like? The captivating exterior of the hotel is truly impressive, and overall, the property’s architecture was a source of great delight for me. Despite its minimalistic design, the hotel effortlessly exudes an air of grandeur that I found truly remarkable. The design narrative of The Ritz-Carlton, Baku takes inspiration from the intricate layers that define modern-day Azerbaijan. Traditional fabrics delicately intermingle with contemporary design elements, harmonising the past with the present. The rich, jewel-like colours scattered throughout the hotel serve as vibrant reminders of the ancient traditions and practices that have shaped the region.
Where is it? Nestled in the heart of the Nasimi District, The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, enjoys a prime and central location. Situated just 24.5 kilometres from Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the hotel offers convenient accessibility. What truly sets this location apart is its proximity to two fascinating aspects of Baku. On one hand, you have the historical charm of the Sherq Bazaar. On the other, the strikingly modern Heydar Aliyev Centre stands nearby, offering a stark contrast in architectural beauty.
Rooms The Ritz-Carlton, Baku offers a diverse range of accommodations to suit various preferences. With a total of 150 rooms and suites, there’s something to cater to every guest’s needs. During my stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Executive Suite, which boasted a spacious 142 sqm layout. The suite was elegantly appointed with a comfortable king bed and featured a well-stocked mini fridge for added convenience. The separate living room area provided a welcoming space to relax and unwind after a long day of meetings. Connectivity was seamless with complimentary wireless internet, and entertainment was at itsj finest with a 55-inch LED TV. One of the standout features of the Executive Suite was its access to the
exclusive Club Lounge, located on the 13th floor. This private sanctuary offered Club Level guests personalised service from a
dedicated Concierge in a warm and refined environment.
Food and Drink The Ritz-Carlton, Baku features two distinguished food and beverage outlets- Tribeca and Bling Tiger. Tribeca offers a delightful fusion of classic New York and contemporary California cuisine. This venue provides an inviting ambience, with its elegant brasserie, a vibrant bar, and a charming terrace. During my stay, I had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast at Tribeca. The morning meal included Azerbaijani bread, perfectly fried sunny-side-up eggs, a refreshing bowl of yoghurt with an assortment of berries and a taste of the local tea. For guests seeking a unique and nostalgia driven dining experience, Blind Tiger is the ideal choice. This cocktail bar draws inspiration from the speakeasy concept of the Prohibition era, offering expertly crafted cocktails in an ambience that transports you to a bygone era of clandestine bars and secret gatherings.

Whether hosting a grand event for up to 280 guests in the spacious ballroom or a more intimate 10-person meeting in an executive boardroom, each space is thoughtfully designed.
