Background The Four Seasons Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan, stands as a testament to luxury and elegance in a city that straddles the divide between Europe and Asia. This beaux-arts-style hotel is ideally situated along the picturesque Caspian Sea, where opal-blue waters meet the dramatic backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains to the west.

What’s it like? The Four Seasons Hotel in Baku is a pinnacle of luxury and sophistication. From the moment you step into the grand lobby, you are enveloped in an atmosphere of opulence and elegance. The hotel’s accommodations, including rooms and suites, offer a perfect blend of classic and contemporary design, ensuring a comfortable and lavish stay with picturesque views of either the Caspian Sea or the city skyline.

Where is it? Its prime location places guests at the heart of central Baku, within steps of the historic Inner-City walls and amidst the striking modern skyline, characterised by a trio of flame-shaped skyscrapers. This juxtaposition perfectly encapsulates the essence of Baku.

Rooms The rooms and suites at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku are a luxurious haven of comfort and style. Elegantly designed with meticulous attention to detail, they offer a perfect retreat for discerning travellers. Whether one chooses a standard room or one of the opulent suites, the layouts are spacious, with sumptuous furnishings, and a soothing colour palette that creates a serene ambience. Each room boasts modern amenities, including high-end bedding, marble-adorned bathrooms, and state-of-the-art technology to enhance your stay. I stayed in the Deluxe Caspian Sea View Room. This exquisite accommodation was a true highlight of my experience. The room’s arched French doors opened to a private balcony, offering unparalleled vistas of the expansive Caspian Sea, which instantly enveloped me in a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere which made my stay truly exceptional.

Food and Drink The Four Seasons Hotel in Baku offers a diverse range of culinary experiences. I started my day with a delicious breakfast at Zafferano, the hotel’s Italian speciality restaurant which is a beautiful light-filled establishment, I indulged in over-hard
fried eggs, Azerbaijan’s speciality bread, house-made honey, yoghurt with berries, and a warm cup of hot chocolate. For a more casual setting, the Piazza offers excellent coffee and pastries. For a more sophisticated atmosphere, Bentley’s Bar is the perfect setting offering a selection of fine whiskies and cigars. Additionally, the Eyvan Terrace provides a lively experience with seasonal dishes, live music, DJ sessions, and shisha. Whether one seeks a hearty morning meal or an evening of entertainment, the hotel
caters to diverse tastes.

Meetings The Four Seasons Hotel in Baku offers versatile event venues with excellent facilities and unique amenities. The Segah Grand Ballroom is perfect for weddings, featuring a spacious, pillar free design and natural light. The Rast Banquet Room, the second-largest venue, is ideal for banquets and meetings, with unobstructed sight lines and high ceilings. The hotel also provides various meeting rooms, including the Shur Room for general sessions, the Chahargah Room for regular-sized groups, the Humayun Room for executive meetings, the Bayaty-Shiraz Room for intimate gatherings, and The Shushtar Room for special-sized meetings or office space. The attentive staff can assist with additional services, ensuring the success of your event or celebrations.

Leisure Guests can enjoy the indoor heated pool set in a Romanesque-style hideaway, housed in a charming stone-clad atrium. The hotel also provides a well equipped fitness centre for active guests and the luxurious Jaleh Spa with opulent treatment rooms that provide the ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Verdict My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku was an unforgettable blend of luxury and comfort. Without a doubt wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional hotel for an impeccable and indulgent experience in the heart of the city.
