China Airlines and Boeing have unveiled the world’s first co-branded B777-300ER livery as part of the 100th anniversary of the aircraft manufacturer.
The new aircraft – the tenth that China Airlines has taken delivery of – is scheduled to begin serving flights to Frankfurt and North America from late May.
The new design features China Airlines’ red plum blosson tailfin with Boeing’s distinctive blue and white colour scheme on the fuselage.
The Taiwanese carrier has unveiled 12 liveried aircraft over the years and nine of these have been on Boeing aircraft. The range of liveries include the Boeing Dreamliner, Lavender, China Airlines 50th Anniversary, Skyteam Alliance, Love & Hug by Jimmy, and now the China Airlines-Boeing.
