Severe weather closes Abu Dhabi airport

9 Mar 2016 by BusinessTraveller

Flights into and out of Abu Dhabi International airport have been suspended "until further notice" due to severe weather conditions.

A statement from the airport said that flights had been suspended "for the safety of our passengers and in line with civil aviation regulations".

Business Traveller's Middle East editor has posted a thread on our forum here, and will update with more information when it is available.

Flights are currently still operating at Dubai International airport, but are experiencing delays.
