The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts has added a third property to its portfolio in India's National Capital Region (NCR).
The group has rebranded Ambience Group’s five-star deluxe hotel in East Delhi.
The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, is a 480-room property housed within two towers connected by sky bridges. The hotel is located in close proximity to Old Delhi as well as the central business districts of Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida.
Facilities include 70,000 sq ft of meeting and banquet space, including a ballroom with a capacity to host more than 6,000 guests, as well as a spa with an ice fountain and hamman, two fitness studios, a beauty salon and two outdoor heated swimming pools.
Rajiv Kaul, president, The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, said: “The hotel is designed to offer a seamless experience for large conferences, weddings, exhibitions, product launches to guests from here and overseas.”
The hotel also features four restaurants and a glass-enclosed bar. The rebranding expands The Leela group’s portfolio to nine hotels across India.
Accorhotels recently opened Pullman and Novotel properties in the region (see news November 6).
