Fraser to open Modena-branded property in Bangkok

13 Nov 2015 by Clement Huang

Fraser Hospitality will introduce its serviced residence brand Modena by Fraser to Thailand next year.

The 239-unit will be the company's second Thai property after the 163-unit Gold-Standard Fraser Suites Sukhumvit serviced residence.

Featuring a stylish and eco-friendly aesthetic, the Modena by Fraser brand is designed for business travellers seeking affordable home comforts. It focuses on soft furnishings and amenities that are provincially sourced, as well as displaying local artwork and featuring local produce in its all-day dining restaurant.

The interiors will feature touches of Thai graffiti, local fabric patchwork and a vernacular architecture. Guests can choose from fully furnished studios to three-bedroom apartments – each coming with a living area, fully-equipped kitchenette, workspace and entertainment system.

Located on the corner of Rama IV Road, the apartments will be directly opposite the Stock Exchange of Thailand, with links to the Queen Sirikit MRT and National Convention Centre.

Complimentary connectivity is available throughout the property, while recreational facilities include a 24-hour gym as well as steam and sauna facilities. Self-service launderette service is also available.

The group currently boasts a global portfolio of 132 properties across 77 cities.
