Workspace provider Regus has opened an Express lounge inside Hilton Manchester Airport.
The facility is the second Regus Express to open in a hotel — the first is located in Hilton Warwick/Stratford-upon-Avon.
It features a drop-in business lounge with private workstations known as ThinkPods, seats with laptop stands and phone chargers, and free wifi.
Meeting rooms that can seat between two and four people are available to hire by the hour for £5 or £10 per day.
Regus Express said it expects users of the lounge to include business travellers, hotel guests, businesses using the facility as a meeting point, and local home-workers wanting an office-style environment.
Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, said: "The opening of our second hotel location testifies to the need for bespoke and dedicated business spaces that match today's flexible workforce.
"We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional nine to five in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in Regus Express as retailers, transport operators and universities all switch on to the commercial opportunity presented by the mobile work and business travel market.
"We are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travellers and local firms alike."
Regus Businessworld membership costs £49 per month and allows members to drop-in at any of Regus' 320 locations in the UK.
At the end of last year, Regus launched its first "workpods" in London Gatwick's South Terminal (see news, December 2014).
