Singapore’s Park Royal on Beach Road hotel has launched 130 newly refurbished premier rooms, a new executive suite and a revitalised Orchid Club Lounge following the completion of a S$4.7 million (US$3.4 million) renovation project.
“We are confident that these upgrading efforts will strengthen the hotel’s competitive positioning within the Marina Bay vicinity as a choice accommodation for both business and leisure guests,” said David Donald, general manager of Park Royal on Beach Road.
Premier room
The refurbished premier rooms are located on second and third level of the hotel, and now feature clean, modernised designs in muted tones for a nature-inspired touch. Every room comes with large window and high ceilings to create a spacious feeling.
Standard room amenities include complimentary wifi and a 40-inch LED flat screen television. Business travellers looking to catch up on some work will appreciate the installation of two desktop power points and one data socket at the work desk. Additional power outlets are also available at the bed stands in order to provide guests with ease of access when charging their mobile devices.

The new executive suite on level five offers the same soft and harmonious tones found in the premier room. Spanning a generous 104sqm, the suite features dedicated living and dining areas, along with a separate bedroom. A pair of modern crystal chandeliers deliver a touch of luxury, while the open concept bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, separate glass-enclosed shower and a spacious walk-in wardrobe.
