Greek carrier Aegean Airlines has unveiled its new uniforms.
The Star Alliance member enlisted London-based Greek fashion designer Sophia Kokosalaki to come up with new clothing for its cabin crew, pilots and ground handling staff.
The uniforms maintain Aegean's blue, red and grey corporate colours.
Kokosalaki said: "The uniform is functional and elegant with a hint of Grecian classicism. Modernity, realism and quality were of major importance...
"I tried to retain my designer identity as well as Aegean's corporate identity. It is difficult to design clothes for many different people in different roles and achieve a beautiful effect that will please everyone.
"It was a great responsibility, because first impressions are important. I would like people to see Greece also as a modern, cultural and sophisticated society."
Aegean Airlines CEO Dimitris Gerogiannis added: "We are very happy about our collaboration with Sophia Kokosalaki and the new dynamism she brings to our image by creating our new staff uniforms."
At the end of last month, Aegean launched a new route from Larnaca to London Heathrow (see news, January 16).
