Qatar Airways passengers who stay at the Airport Hotel at Hamad International can now check-in their luggage up to 12 hours prior to their flight's departure.
The advance baggage drop service is available to the Gulf airline's passengers who have a pre-paid and non-refundable reservation at the hotel.
It allows Qatar Airways customers with an early morning flight to check-in the night before.
Akbar Al Baker, the airline's CEO, said: "We are delighted to offer yet another exclusive service to Qatar Airways passengers.
"The newly announced offering from the Airport Hotel at Hamad International airport will be a popular new service, adding an enhanced level of flexibility to Qatar Airways passengers who want to either relax at the hotel and spa before their flight or explore the fantastic five-star facilities at HIA."
Philippe Anric, the Airport Hotel's general manager, added: "We look forward to welcoming Qatar Airways passengers, who can now check-in baggage up to 12 hours prior to their departure when they have a confirmed reservation at The Airport Hotel in Hamad International Airport."
Yesterday, it emerged that Qatar Airways will extend its second daily A350 XWB service to Frankfurt into the summer (see news, January 20).
