Preferred Hotel Group has added five new hotels to its London portfolio: The Stafford London, The Beaumont Hotel, Hotel Xenia, The Bentley London, and The Exhibitionist (opening this month).
The Beaumont Hotel (Mayfair)
The Beaumont opened earlier this month, and features a Grade II-listed art deco exterior. The design of the 73 guestrooms is inspired by prohibition-era Manhattan, with a particular highlight being the part-suite, part-sculpture creation called ROOM by Sir Anthony Gormley.
The Exhibitionist (South Kensington)
This 37-room property is part of the Preferred Boutique collection, and promises a 21st century experience through ultra-modern décor and the use of technology. Situated adjacent to Exhibition Road, the hotel is close to some 18 institutions including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and the Royal Albert Hall.
The Stafford London (St. James’s)
Located just minutes from Buckingham Palace, The Stafford London was originally built as private residences in the 17th century. It comes with a 350-year old underground wine cellar, and the legendary American Bar.
The Bentley London (Kensington)
The Bentley is an established five-star property featuring 64 guestrooms. Be on a lookout for the Peridot brasserie that serves freshly-baked cakes and pastries during tea time. Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, it is close to the world-famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
Hotel Xenia (South Kensington)
This 99-room Preferred Boutique hotel has recently been renovated and offers two cocktail bars, an Italian restaurant, a herb garden, and private roof terrace. All guestrooms come with tablet computers while the Xenia Suite features Victorian gallery windows and an onyx stone Turkish bath.
