British Airways has launched the latest version of its smartphone app making it easier for passengers to use their mobile boarding pass, the airline claims.
BA said the number of its customers booking via mobile devices has increased by 290 per cent in two years.
As such, the new app has been configured to deliver "personalised, relevant and time sensitive travel information at the touch of a button".
It is compatible with both iPhone and Android devices and can be downloaded for free at ba.com/apps.
Users can select seats, change their booking, manage their Executive Club account and check-in online, while a tailored screen will show a "background image based on their next flight and flight information adjusted to reflect their journey stage".
Kevin McQuillan, head of ba.com, said: "At British Airways, we have a long history of innovating and introducing the latest technology to help our customers.
"This latest app is another way we are making travel easier by delivering the latest and most relevant information to our customers at the tap of a finger."
