Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced a new global partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) in loyalty benefits.
The airline's Kris Flyer members can earn miles for stays at more than 1,000 Carlson Rezidor hotels around the world, while the hotel group's Club Carlson SM rewards programme cardholders have the option of earning either the scheme's Gold Points as per usual for their stays, or Kris Flyer miles instead.
Carlson Rezidor has a wide range of brands, including edgy and top-end Radisson Blu, upscale Radisson and Park Plaza, young and colourful Park Inn by Radisson and mid-scale Country Inns and Suites. Many of these properties are located in major business cities such as New York, London, Beijing, Chicago, Mumbai, Sydney and Tokyo. The group also has resort properties at such popular destinations as Phuket and Tahiti.
Benefits enjoyed by Club Carlson SM members are extended to their Kris Flyer counterparts, including free Internet and award night redemption starting at 9,000 points. Kris Flyer members who stay at Radisson Blu, Radisson and Park Plaza properties can earn 500 miles per stay, and 250 miles at Country Inns & Suites and Park Inn by Radisson hotels.
A promotion is currently on for PPS Club (SIA's recognition programme for regular premium passengers) and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members, which allows them to earn 1,000 Kris Flyer miles per eligible stay and an automatic complimentary upgrade to Club Carlson SM Gold Elite Status when they join the scheme. They may take up this promotional offer by registering at www.clubcarlson.com/1000SQ by by May 31 and completing an eligible stay of at least one night before June 30 in any Asia-Pacific property under one of the aforementioned brands. After registration, they can also earn 20 Gold Points per US dollar spent on accommodation as well as food and beverage consumption charged to the room.
Other Club Carlson SM Gold Elite perks include 35 per cent Gold Points bonus on every eligible stay, 15 per cent discount at the hotels' all-day dining restaurants, welcome gift upon arrival, complimentary room upgrades when available, as well as early check-in and late checkout upon request and when available.
