China Eastern announced to fly to Jakarta from Kunming via Nanning twice a week starting from March 11.
The route will be operated by a 134-seat B737-700 in two classes – eight first class seats configured in 2-2 and 126 economy seats arranged in 3-3.
The service departs Kunming every Tuesday and Friday at 1900, arriving Nanning at 2010, leaving again at 2110 and reaching Jakarta at 0040, local time. The return leg takes off at 0140, landing in Nanning at 0710, departing again at 0810 with a 0920 touch down at Kunming local time.
The China-South Asia Expo will be held at Kunming in June this year. The airline said that introducing services to South Asia could help developing a better network to connect to the host city.
