Hong Kong Airlines to launch Tianjin service

24 Feb 2014

Hong Kong Airlines will start flying to Tianjin, the largest coastal city in Northern China, on March 30 from its base in Hong Kong.

An all-economy class A320 will be used to link the cities, and the service will depart from Hong Kong every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1050 and arrive in Tianjin at 1355.

The return leg leaves Tianjin at 1455 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 1805 touch down in Hong Kong. The airline will add a Sunday service on this route to increase the operation to four times a week starting from mid-May.

The carrier has recently increased the frequencies of its China flights, having added a fourth flight to Beijing last month (see here). It will also add a third service to Hangzhou next month (see here).
