International hotelier Millennium & Copthorne Hotels recently unveiled the M Hotel Chengdu, which is the group's second M Hotel-brand property in Asia following one in Singapore.
Marketed as trendy and convenient accommodation for business travellers, the branch is located in Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone in the Gaoxin District – a 13-minute drive from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.

British Airways (see here) and Qatar Airways (see here) have recently launched services to the city, which just became the fifth city in China to allow 72-hour visa free stays for transiting passengers (see here). Chengdu is also set to get a Ritz-Carlton soon (see here). For an in-depth report on Chengdu, check out the September issue of Business Traveller, or click here.
The property features 196 guestrooms and suites that range from a 35 sqm Superior room to the 235 sqm Presidential suite. The property is Chengdu’s only fully smoke-free hotel.
