Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with one of Shenzhen’s construction developers for a new Park Hyatt Hotel in the Futian district of Shenzhen, China. The new hotel will join the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, which opened in 2009.
Park Hyatt Shenzhen, Futian will be situated in the centre of the booming business district (for a Business Traveller Asia-Pacific report on the area, click here), adjacent to the Convention and Exhibition Centre. The new Hyatt-branded property will be part of the Ping’An Financial Centre – a new mixed used development project that will also include a luxury shopping mall and upscale offices. It will be located at the top of the 350-metre South Tower, next to the 616-metre North Tower of the development, which is expected to become the tallest building in Shenzhen.
Scheduled to open in 2018, the Park Hyatt Shenzhen, Futian will feature 223 guestrooms and suites. The hotel will offer an array of dining options, a spa, a fitness centre and multi-functional event facilities.
