Emirates confirms seat configuration for Taipei service

28 Aug 2013 by Clement Huang

As reported yesterday (see here), Dubai-based Emirates has announced that it will begin launching flights to the Taiwanese capital of Taipei in February 2014.

The airline will service the route daily except on Friday, and will be operated by the B777-300ER aircraft.

Seating configurations have now been confirmed. The B777-300ER will be fitted with a three-class layout, and feature eight suites in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class, and 304 seats in economy.

Emirate will be the first Gulf carrier to serve Taipei. The Taiwanese capital is not an easy place for European travellers to reach, and therefore Emirates will play a significant part in expanding the gateway between Taiwan and Europe.
