Carlton City Hotel Singapore opened its doors on August 13, under the Worldhotels brand.

The property comprises 386 rooms ranging from 32–64sqm, including top-floor suites with sweeping views of the city and Singapore Habour. Most of the rooms have separate bath tub and rain shower facilities, a Herman Miller chair, work desk, 40” LED television with cable, free high-speed internet and a mini bar with tea and coffee-making facilities. There is also a 24-hour in-room dining service.

Guests staying in Carlton Club Rooms and Carlton Suites have access to the Carlton Club Lounge on the 28th floor, where free breakfast and evening cocktails with hors d’oeuvres are served daily.

The Plate restaurant serves up everything from Singaporean classics to grilled meats and vegetables, while The Trading Floor offers coffee, cocktails and light snacks. Next to it is Tuxedo, which has pastries and fine brews. Guests can also enjoy cocktails at Graffiti Sky Bar.

Located in the central business district, the hotel is walking distance from Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. The former features stately residences built in the 19th and early 20th centuries which are now populated with chic galleries, shops, restaurants and bars, while Chinatown offers temples and museums.
