London’s latest boutique hotel is set to open in South Kensington in May.

Xenia hotel will be located on Cromwell Road within a restored Victorian building formerly home to the Majestic Hotel London, and around five minutes’ walk from Earl’s Court tube station, with links to Heathrow airport.

The “design-led contemporary boutique hotel” will feature 99 rooms, a multi-event room and a boardroom, and a restaurant headed up by “a well-known Italian chef” and offering “an innovative concept from Italy which centres around flavourful Italian cuisine made healthy”.

There will also be al fresco seating, a herb garden terrace, and “an offering for cigar aficionados”.

Rooms will range from £160 up to £600 for a suite, excluding VAT.

The hotel will become a member of the Great Hotels of the World portfolio, joining six other GHW properties in the capital including the Landmark London, and St James’s Hotel and Club.
