The fall out from the suspension of Dreamliner services by several airlines (see news) steadily continues, with the twin announcements today by Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon (ANA) of further flight cancellations.
JAL said it is canceling the Tokyo Narita-San Diego service for January 27 and 28 – a total of four flights, affecting about 370 passengers.
ANA is canceling services between Tokyo Narita and Beijing, Seattle and San Jose, California for January 23 to 27 – a total of 18 flights, affecting about 1,264 passengers.
Updates on the operations of other affected flights, on or after these dates mentioned by each airline, will be issued once decisions on their air worthiness are made.
