Singapore Airlines and SilkAir are building on their previous Changi Transit Programme (see story here) by providing transit passengers with double the amount of Changi Dollar Vouchers (CDV) than in the previous promotional period.
Between now and June 30, all passengers with confirmed inbound and outbound tickets on either Singapore Airlines or SilkAir with a 13-digit e-ticket receipt number starting with either 618 or 629 are eligible to receive CDVs worth SG$40 (US$32) per ticket. This amount is exactly double the amount (SG$20/US$16) provided in October last year.
The CDVs can be used at more than 450 retail, food and service outlets at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Changi Airport, including access to the Ambassador Transit Lounge for up to six hours, but the dollar amount can only be used in one transaction. The scheme only applies to tickets issued from October 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 and the CDVs are valid from date of issue until March 31, 2014.
To collect the CDVs, eligible passengers need to present their e-tickets and arrival boarding passes for the Singapore-bound flight at the information counters in the transit areas of Terminals 2 and 3. Once this promotional period ends on June 30, the Changi Transit Programme will revert to its original scheme of issuing CDVs worth SG$20 (US$16) for eligible passengers.
