Emirates is adding an extra daily service between Dubai and Hong Kong from October 28, meaning it will fly between the destinations three times daily.
The new flight EK383 departs from Hong Kong daily at 1755, arriving in Dubai at 2310. Its return flight EK382 departs Dubai at 0320 and arrives in Hong Kong at 1430. This will be operated by an A340-300.
The new daily flight joins two existing flights. Under the winter schedule from October 28, EK385 departs Hong Kong at 2115 and lands in Dubai at 0450, the return leg EK384 meanwhile, leaves at 0305 and lands at 1730. EK381 departs Hong Kong at 0035 and lands at 0535, the return leg leaving Dubai 1005 and landing at 2105.
These flights are operated with an A380, B777-300ER and A340-300, and Emirates says that together they provide over 1,100 seats per day.
“Hong Kong is one of the most important markets in the region for both business and leisure travellers. We have been witnessing a huge demand in the past few years, and have greatly increased passenger capacity and flight frequencies since we first launched the route in 1991,” said Edwin Lau, vice president, Emirates Hong Kong. “We are delighted that another milestone is made today after the launch of the A380 service in 2010.”
