All Nippon Airways (ANA) has revealed the dates when its new premium economy seats will be introduced on long-haul flights.
From August 29 onwards – slightly earlier than planned – the carrier will roll out the new seats on six different routes, starting with New York. The seats will then feature on flights to London on September 14 and Frankfurt on September 30. On October 1, the seats will be on San Francisco flights, on flights to Los Angeles from October 11 and on Paris flights from October 21.
The new seat has a 38-inch pitch and a 19.3-inch width in a 2-4-2 configuration, as reported earlier (see story here). Premium economy passengers will have lounge access, priority check-in and baggage handling services.
