China Southern treats first class passengers to limo pick-ups

China Southern Airlines (CZ) is introducing complimentary limousine pick-up for first class passengers as the latest addition to the suite of benefits offered by its Warm Heart 9000 programme.

The initiative is part of a portfolio of branded customer services that includes Business 2000, Transfer Connection, Easy Cargo 5000 and Cargo Connections. These, according to the carrier's vice-president Li Kung, aim "to enhance our competitiveness in the marketplace".

He added that in the past few years, China Southern had been "working hard to improve the quality of its passenger and in-flight services to offer our customers a unique and total package of elite first class services".

Other perks exclusive to the airline’s premium passengers include a dedicated hotline (tel +86 20 8663 9000) where staff personally handle calls; special check-in counters at Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou – the airline's home base – fast-check immigration, club lounge access and flight delay assistance such as hotel accommodation, among others.

As one of China's most progressive flight operators, China Southern has been impressing travellers with bold steps such as taking delivery of the country's first A380 (see here), a series of route expansion (see here) and airport conveniences (see here).
