For 15 days starting tomorrow (May 15), Star Alliance is cutting the price of its economy class round-the-world (RTW) ticket by 15 per cent.
The promotion is designed to coincide with the alliance’s 15th anniversary. Tickets with the saving are on sale worldwide until May 29 and are valid for 12 months.
Note that the discount applies only to the base fare. It does not cover the taxes, fees and charges element of the RTW tariff.
Star Alliance has more members and more routing possibilities than any other alliance, and was voted Best Airline Alliance by the readers of Business Traveller in last year's awards.
Main members include Air Canada, Air New Zealand, ANA, the Lufthansa Group, SIA, Thai and United.
