Turkish Airlines and Air India have expanded their codeshare agreement to include domestic routes in both India and Turkey.
According to industry website airlineroute.net, the pact will see Turkish Airlines’ “TK” code on Air India-operated flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata as well as on the Delhi-Amritsar flight.
Meanwhile, the Indian carrier’s “AI” code will appear on flights from Istanbul to Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Dalaman and Ismir.
The two carriers already codeshare on flights between Istanbul and Delhi and Mumbai.
