JAL's freshly painted Dreamliner revealed

15 Dec 2011

Japan Airlines has released images of its first B787-800 Dreamliner rolling out of the paint hangar at the Boeing facility in Everett, Washington, US.

JAL’s Dreamliner will feature the world’s first electronic Japanese comics, known as manga, onboard. Although they will initially be offered only in Japanese, English versions will eventually be available too.

As reported earlier (see story here), the aircraft will be used on the new Narita-Boston route as well as on flights to New Delhi, Moscow and Beijing. This aircraft, soon to be delivered although the date has not yet been released, is the first of 35 Dreamliners that JAL has on order.
