United Airlines will fly daily between Washington DC and Doha (via Dubai) from May 2012.
The carrier already serves Dubai, Kuwait City and Bahrain from Washington Dulles, and will add Doha to this list from May 1. Flights will depart Washington at 1822, landing in Dubai at 1535 the following day, before departing for Doha at 1710 and landing at 1715.
The return legs will depart Doha at 2020, landing in Dubai at 2225, before leaving for Washington at 0010 and landing back in the US at 0632.
The route will be served with United’s B777 aircraft configured for eight first class seats, 40 in business class and 221 in economy (with 104 Economy Plus seats).
Qatar Airways is the only carrier offering a direct, non-stop service between Doha and Washington, with United currently codesharing on the route.
