Garuda Indonesia is adding another flight between Singapore and Jakarta from August 1, 2011, bringing the total number of flights on this sector to eight daily.
The new service, operated by a Boeing 737-800NG, will depart Jakarta at 0755, arriving in Singapore at 1020, and the return leg will depart Changi airport at 1120, arriving back in Jakarta at 1205.
The Singapore-Jakarta route is one of the busiest international routes out of Indonesia and Singapore in terms of passenger traffic, Changi Airport revealed, with up to 37 flights per day each way.
To flag the addition, Garuda is running a one-week promotion between now and July 31, for travel between July 31 and August 25. Return economy class tickets on this route start from S$180 (US$148).
