Perched atop the Four Seasons in Worli, this bar is the city’s highest with uninterrupted views of the skyline. Contemporary décor, seating both indoors and outdoors and an extensive wine list, champagne and a variety of cocktails makes Aer an attractive watering hole for both leisure and business get togethers.

BlueFROG in Lower Parel is for music lovers with live music performances and star DJs pumping up the atmosphere all week with all genres of music, from Cuban to alternative rock. The psychedelic interior is a fantastic bonus.

Dome
Another rooftop bar, although not as high as Aer, Dome sits on the eighth floor of the InterContinental along Marine Drive. Taking its name from the glass dome, an integral part of the hotel’s architecture, this place is both casual and romantic. A selection of wines and cigars are on offer to compliment the stunning view of the sea.

Leopold Café
Leopold Café, established since 1871 as an oil store and then in 1987 as a pub, lies in the heart of Colaba market providing tourists and locals alike with an authentic, historical Mumbai experience. Immortalised in the novel, Shantaram, the laid-back watering hole was the second pub to ever open in Mumbai thus acting as a metaphor for India’s independence.
In 2008, however, it was an unfortunate victim of the terrorist attacks. Yet, as with the rest of the resilient city, it bounced back and is now in full swing again because as its tag line says, the place just “gets better with age”.
