Thai Airways to cut flights between Bangkok and Sydney

Thai Airways has confirmed it will reduce the number of flights between Bangkok and Sydney from 18 to 14 per week from August 1 onwards.

Flight TG 4777, which operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the return leg, flight TG 472, which operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, will both be cut.

The remaining flights will continue to operate according to their normal schedules. The first daily flight from Bangkok departs at 0755, arriving in Sydney at 2000, while the second flight departs at 1915, arriving in Sydney at 0720 the following day.

The first of the two return flights departs Sydney at 1000, arriving back in Bangkok at 1630, and the second flight departs at 1525, arriving in Bangkok at 2155.

The carrier uses the Airbus A340-600 aircraft on this route and will continue to do so after the changed timetable.
