It was a busy day, yesterday (June 17, 2011), for Korean Air’s first Airbus A380, which set off on two commercial flights from Incheon for Tokyo Narita at 0900 and later in the evening at 2000 for Hong Kong International Airport.
As Northeast Asia’s first superjumbo operator, Korean also set more trends with its latest acquisition – the first of 10 to arrive over the next three years. Its entire upper deck has been designated for business class (Prestige Class) and features lounge-bars in the front and rear end of this section. The lower deck, where first class and economy class are located comes with a small duty-free boutique in the rear section.
Business Traveller was on the flight from Incheon to Hong Kong and recorded some images of the experience. A full review of the journey will appear on Monday, June 20, 2011. Watch out for it.
