Boeing’s 747 Intercontinental and 787 Dreamliner aircraft will both be on display at this year’s Paris Air Show, which runs from June 20-26.
The manufacturer will display both the passenger and freighter versions of its 747-8 aircraft at the show, having unveiled the Intercontinental sporting a special sunrise livery at its factory in Seattle earlier this year (see online news February 14).
Lufthansa will be the first commercial airline to take delivery of the 747-8I next year, although the first delivery of the aircraft will actually be to a private VIP customer in the fourth quarter of this year. The first freighter version is due for delivery to Cargolux this summer.
Boeing’s long-awaited 787 Dreamliner will also be on display at the show, with the first delivery now set for “August or September” to launch customer ANA. To view a 787 flight-test aircraft in ANA livery, click here.
Boeing will also be displaying an Air Berlin 737-700 aircraft fitted with the new Boeing Sky Interior – for more information visit boeing.com, parisairshow.com.
