The Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced it will open its flagship Parkroyal property in Singapore in 2012.
The 363-room Parkroyal on Pickering, located on Upper Pickering Street in the city's CBD and close to Chinatown, is designed by WOHA, the architectural firm behind several city landmarks including the School of Arts and Stadium Mass Rapid Transportation Station as well as The Met in Bangkok. The hotel follows a garden concept, which helped it score the Green Mark Platinum rating, making it one of Singapore’s greenest hotels.
Other eco-oriented amenities include an entire floor dedicated to wellness and a nature trail. For the corporate guest, a business centre offering secretarial services, a terrace pool, a gym and F&B outlets will be available.
