Avis Rent a Car has increased the number of UK branches by 50 per cent over the last two months, thanks in part to an agreement with workplace solutions provider Regus.
The car rental firm has opened a total of 37 new UK branches, with 21 of these being as a result of the Regus agreement, which allows customers to book and hire cars directly from a local Regus office.
The other 16 new openings are partnerships with local hotels. Avis says that it plans to open a further 100 leisure branches in the UK in 2011.
