The Ascott Limited is expanding in the Philippines in 2014, aiming to grow from four to six properties.
The leading serviced residences provider plans to open its second Ascott branded property in Metro Manila, Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila in the emerging Taguig business district. The 220-unit property will feature studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, office suites, fully equipped meeting spaces and recreational facilities.
The same year, it intends to launch the first Citadines, the 215-unit Citadines Salcedo Makati in the older financial district. This will offer studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments along with a gym and swimming pool.
The company first entered the market in 2000 with the Somerset tier and now has Somerset Millenium Makati, Somerset Olympia Makati and Somerset Salcedo Makati, plus the Ascott Makati.
