JAL resumes codeshare with China Southern Airlines

6 Jan 2011

Japan Airlines (JAL) and China Southern Airlines (CZ) have signed a codeshare agreement for a new route from Tokyo Narita Airport to Dalian and have resumed previously suspended codeshare routes between Japan and China.

The new route from Narita to Dalian, which commences today, will be a four times a week service. Flights will depart from Dalian on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 0840 and arrive in Narita at 1225. The return leg will depart from Narita on the same days at 1325 and arrive back in Dalian at 1520.

Previously, JAL and CZ operated codeshare routes between Tokyo Narita Airport and Osaka, and Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenyang. These routes were suspended due to ongoing contractual negotiations, stated a JAL spokesperson, and have now resumed.
