Rezidor’s Park Inn brand will open its second hotel in Scotland next week, a 185-room property in a city often known as The Oil Capital of Europe.
The six-storey Park Inn Aberdeen is located on Justice Mill Lane, parallel to the city’s main Union Street thoroughfare, and features eight meeting rooms on the ground floor, including a ballroom which can accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style.
Other facilities include a gym, signature RBG restaurant, and free wifi throughout the hotel. Many of the rooms have views of the city and North Sea, and the hotel’s public areas feature a collection of one-off celebrity portraits by local artist Bob Harper, including Sir Paul McCartney, Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart and Aberdeen-born Annie Lennox.
The Park Inn Aberdeen joins the 100-room Park Inn Glasgow City Centre, and there are currently three other Park Inn properties under development in Scotland – one in East Kilbride close to Glasgow, and two in Edinburgh (one in the city centre and another by the airport).
