Air China has unveiled a new lounge for premium passengers at Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport.
Boasting Chinese-influenced interiors, the facility covers an area of 1,000sqm, and is the largest lounge in the terminal. It seats 165 passengers and features a changing room, showers, sleeping area, food and beverage counter, smoking corner, entertainment zone, internet cafe, baggage storage, mobile phone recharging stations and two VIP rooms.
A Star Alliance member, the airline offers lounge access to seven other members of the group flying out from Baiyun Airport. These are Shanghai Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, ANA, THAI, Egypt Air, and Asiana Airlines. Together, they provide links to 20 domestic and seven international destinations.
To facilitate Air China's opertions, airport authorities allocated the East Concourse 2 for its exclusive use.
