The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan, which is to open its doors on Saturday, January 9, will carve a distinctive niche in the local hotel scene by advocating a healthy lifestyle in its premises.
"We want our guests to leave feeling better than when they arrived," said hotel general manager Lance Ourednik. "Our staff are trained to provide instinctive services to create individual moments that make guests feel alive and at their best."

The 25-storey hotel offers The Westin's signature programmes and services that promote wellness in travel.
The 350 well-equipped guestrooms, which range from Deluxe King to Presidential Suite, are fitted with the Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath amenities for a relaxing sleep.
Two room categories - the Westin Renewal Room and the Westin WORKOUT Room - enable guests to continue with their regular fitness regimen in private. The Westin Renewal Room has equipment and amenities, a luxurious whirlpool bathtub and replenishing foot massager that enable a full spa experience; while the Westin WORKOUT Room has either a treadmill or a stationary bike.

Facilities include Westin's signature spa, a 24-hour gym that has the latest cardio and aerobics equipment and an outdoor swimming pool. To complement these facilities, the hotel will be conducting the RunWestin programme, a scenic morning run around the neighbourhood.
Consistent with its philosophy, guests can also expect healthy food options at the hotel's five restaurants: Seasonal Tastes (all-day dining), Zen5es (Cantonese), Grange Grill (steakhouse) and its adjoining Grange Bar,and the lobby bar.

For business travellers, the hotel's location at the heart of the bustling Nanshan district makes it an ideal base when doing business in southern China. The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan offers full Business Centre services and high-speed wireless internet access. It has 10 meetings venues covering 1,100sqm, which can hold up to 600 people.
The hotel is now offering a choice of introductory packages. These include a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room for CNY1,300 (US$190) inclusive of CNY400 (US$59) F&B credit, and a one weekend night stay in Deluxe Room with breakfast for two persons for CNY980 (US$143). By adding CNY280 (US$41), all packages allow for an upgrade to a Westin Executive Deluxe Room, which comes with Westin Executive Club benefits.
