Singapore Airlines to start up flights to Munich

15 Dec 2009

Munich becomes Singapore Airlines' (SIA) second destination in Germany, after Frankfurt, when it starts up direct flights from March 28, 2010. The five-times- weekly flights, which depart Singapore on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the Bavarian city, then carries on to Manchester.

Customers using the new service will be flying on a three-class configured Boeing B777-300ER aircraft. Seats in First Class and Business Class can be converted into flat beds. In Economy Class, passengers will enjoy new-generation seats as well. The newest version of Krisworld with a large library of CDs and most recent filmed entertainment and TV programmes will be available across all classes.

SIA also serves Frankfurt twice daily, one of which continues on to New York.
